The official inauguration was held on January 23 under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, represented by his Minister of Public Works.
The complex will produce machines from the SEM range, which is Caterpillar’s second brand. It will supply Central African markets with equipment of international quality at a price adapted to the local market, with an initial production capacity of 250 machines per year.
This machine assembly unit is a first not only in Cameroon but in Central Africa.
